Compression and multi-point designs that don’t rattle loose
Gasket pull-down, stainless, E-coat and powder coat
Cutouts, grip ranges, and key options to your spec
On a truck body or an outdoor cabinet, hardware fails in three ways. It rattles loose under road vibration. It lets water and dust past the gasket. Or it corrodes until the key won’t turn. Compression latches pull the door tight onto its gasket. Multi-point systems spread that clamping force along the full height of the door. And the right alloy and finish keep it all working after years of road salt. We cast, machine, and assemble these parts in one place.
Zinc die castings for detailed, powder-coated latch bodies at volume. SS304 / SS316 investment castings for marine and wash-down duty. Forged and machined cams, keepers, and pins where the load is highest. We recommend the route that fits your volume and environment.
Pawls, cams, and pivot holes are machined in our own shop, so latches engage cleanly and pull down evenly. Then we assemble springs, gaskets, key cylinders, and fasteners to your BOM and ship complete, tested latches.
Every quote is itemized: tooling, unit cost, and shipping listed separately. There is no rigid MOQ, so a 300-piece aftermarket run and a 30,000-piece body-builder program both get a real price. No drawing? We build the 3D model from your sample.
For refrigerated and dry-freight truck bodies, RVs and caravans, fire and service vehicles, pickup toolboxes, trailers, and industrial or telecom cabinets. Every line can be built to your drawing, alloy, and finish. The processes below are where we start.
Lift the paddle, turn, and the cam first locks the door, then pulls it inward to compress the gasket. The seal stays tight under vibration.
Zinc die casting with black powder coat or chrome, or SS304 / SS316 investment casting for marine and wash-down duty.
Adjustable grip range, key cylinder or padlockable handle, and gasket and cam assembled to your spec.
Applications: electrical and telecom cabinets, generator enclosures, reefer and service bodies, marine hatches.
Zamak 5
SS316
Powder Coat
Stamped stainless or die-cast zinc and aluminum trays that sit flush with the panel, so nothing snags clothing, hoses, or straps.
Spring-loaded slide-bolt or rotary latches, single-point or rod-driven two-point for tall compartment doors. Pivots and pawls are CNC-machined.
Polished or brushed stainless, black powder coat, or bright chrome.
Applications: RV and caravan doors, fire and rescue compartments, utility service bodies, horse trailers.
SS304
Zamak
Rotary Latch
Zinc die-cast T-handles and recessed housings with chrome or black finishes. The handle folds flat so it sits flush when closed.
Stainless rotary cams, with optional rod linkage for two-point locking on wide lids.
Applications: pickup crossover toolboxes, tailgates, truck side boxes, equipment hatches.
Zamak
SS304 Cam
Chrome
SS304 investment castings or forged steel, which leaves no internal porosity at the points that take the load. Brackets and guides are CNC-machined.
Galvanized or stainless tubes, cut to your door height.
One handle drives top, middle, and bottom locking points for tall cold room doors, server racks, and cargo doors, so the door seals evenly along its full length.
Applications: reefer trailers and box trucks, dry-freight bodies, shipping containers, tall cold room doors.
SS304
Forged Steel
Galvanized
Over-center latches stamped from stainless that pull two parts together with strong clamping force.
Die-cast or turned bodies with stamped cam tongues, keyed or tool-operated.
Push the door shut and it latches automatically. Die-cast housings with rotary bolts, for doors opened many times a day.
Applications: flight cases, insulated cold-chain boxes, filter housings, access panels, utility doors.
SS304
Zamak
Stamping
Two-part hinges that let you lift the door off for installation and service. Investment-cast stainless or die-cast zinc.
Hold a heavy door at any angle, which keeps it from slamming shut in the wind on vehicle service doors.
Concealed hinges are hidden inside the door for tamper resistance and a clean face. Continuous piano hinges spread the load along the full door edge so long doors don’t sag.
Applications: electrical cabinets, truck compartments, medical carts, machine guards.

SS316
Zamak
Die-cast zinc or aluminum bodies in high-visibility powder coat, with bent and chrome-plated steel shackles. They fit into the trailer coupler and stop it being hitched by anyone else.
Bent and zinc-plated steel pins with die-cast lock heads and weather caps.
Applications: caravans, boat and utility trailers, aftermarket towing brands, private-label programs.
Zamak
Alloy Steel
Powder Coat
Aluminum or zinc die-cast end blocks and grip bars in textured black powder coat. Premium versions get CNC-machined bright accents that show bare aluminum against the black finish.
Bent steel or stainless tube with stamped mounting flanges. Finished in high-visibility powder coat or polished stainless.
Concealed or exposed bolts, threaded inserts, and grip lengths are made to fit your pillar, roll bar, or door panel.
Applications: off-road and 4×4 pillar and roll-bar handles, van rear-door assist handles, truck cab and step entries, RV doors.

CNC Accent
Roll the equipment into place, then turn the adjuster to lower the foot pad, which takes the load off the wheel and levels the machine. Housings are die cast and finished in hammer-tone powder coat.
Pressed and zinc-plated steel swivel brackets with a foot-operated, spring-loaded floor lock that holds carts and cabinets still.
Ball-joint bases that tilt to sit flat on uneven floors. Stainless or zinc-plated studs with rubber or polyurethane pads.
Applications: industrial machines, mobile workbenches and cabinets, food-service equipment, packaging lines.

A compression latch locks the door and then pulls it inward to squeeze the gasket, so the seal stays tight against rain, dust, and vibration. Use one wherever a door must stay sealed: electrical and telecom cabinets, generator enclosures, refrigerated truck bodies, and marine hatches.
A paddle latch sits flush in the door and opens when you lift a recessed paddle, so nothing sticks out to snag clothing or hoses. It is common on RV, fire truck, and service body compartments. A T-handle latch has a T-shaped grip that you turn, often folding flat when closed. It gives more leverage and suits pickup toolboxes, tailgates, and heavier hatches.
Most reefer and cargo bodies use cam-bar locks. These are vertical steel or stainless tubes with cams at each end that engage keepers at the top and bottom of the door frame. Turning one handle locks the door at two or more points and pulls it tight onto the seal.
SS316 stainless steel investment castings give the best corrosion resistance for marine and winter-road use. For lower cost, zinc or aluminum die castings with E-coat and powder coat perform well on vehicles that are washed regularly.
Yes. Send your cutout drawing, door thickness, and a sample if you have one. We design the latch body and adjust the grip range and mounting pattern so it fits your existing doors without re-tooling the panel.
There is no rigid MOQ. We quote pilot batches and high-volume programs alike, with tooling cost listed separately.
We answer RFQs within 12 hours. First-article samples typically take 15–30 days depending on process and tooling.
Send your drawings, cutout dimensions, or a sample latch. Our engineers review it for manufacturability and return an itemized quote with tooling, unit price, and shipping within 12 hours. Drawings stay confidential, and an NDA is available on request.
